"Rus Cook is Vice President, Program Execution of Sparton Corporation, an Elbit Systems of America company. In his current role, Rus is responsible for providing direction and guidance for program management to meet our commitments.  

Rus joined Sparton in Dec 2024, with over 25 years of expertise managing and implementing complex defense programs for the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and DARPA. Rus started his career as and Air Force Program Manager focused on software systems. He moved to DRS Technologies and was the PM for Power Controls for DDGs and LHD-8. Rus spent the majority of his career at Leidos as a PM for ocean going systems and Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs), most notably Sea Hunter and Seahawk. He concluded his time at Leidos as VP Program Execution for the Defense Systems Sector overseeing >700 programs.

Mr. Cook received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the United States Air Force Academy and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Auburn University Montgomery."
