Requirements: BA/BS in Chemistry/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. Minimum of five years related experience in printed circuit assembly manufacturing. Green/black belt certification desired. Experience with lean manufacturing concepts; experience with advanced PCB technologies; experience with lead free materials and technologies; experience with flex and rigid flex PCB assembly; experience with high density interconnect technology; experience with micro-via interconnect technology; experience with hybrid construction materials. SMT Process Engineer 2. Under little or no supervision performs advanced, long term complex project management for the development, implementation and maintenance of conformal coating and potting operations for manufacturing of printed circuit assembly. This engineer will support the Conformal Coating and Potting area to improve the quality and thru-put of the area.

Requirements: BA/BS in Chemistry/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. Minimum of five years related experience in printed circuit assembly manufacturing. Green/black belt certification desired. Experience with lean manufacturing concepts; experience with advanced PCB technologies; experience with tooling and fixture design; experience with PCB handling of assemblies in process; background in time and motion measurement of operations; strong experience with Epoxies and RTV application and technology; strong experience with methods for applications of Epoxies and RTV’s; strong experience with acrylic and polyurethane conformal coatings; experience with both manual and automated application of conformal coatings.

Materials Manager
Materials Manager

Sparton, a company who has been recognized several times as a technologically advanced leader in the development and manufacture of multiple electronics products, is conducting a search for a Materials Manager in their Brooksville, Fl facility. This position requires five plus years of directly related experience and an individual who is proactive with strong leadership, interpersonal and communications skills.

The Materials Manager will oversee all activities of the stockroom, including parts and material receiving, distribution and shipping.

Responsibilities Include:

- Plan, assign, coordinate and review the work for stockroom personnel; provide direction to personnel on proper inventory procedures and materials management processes, including reconciliation of cycle counts; provide recommendations to improve processes; follow established company policies and procedures.

- Ensure accurate replenishment and perpetual inventory; resolve inventory discrepancies.

- Prioritize kitting, monitor kit releases, audit kits to maintain trace-ability. Monitor negative inventory on a weekly basis and reconcile discrepancies.

-Review and analyze receiving of goods, cycle count adjustments, goods issued, and transfers internally & to outsourced suppliers.

-Identify and document each critical process such as kitting, goods issue, goods receipt, and cycle counting.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

-5+ years of related experience (stockroom, inventory, materials, preferably in a high mix/low volume environment with several thousand part numbers and traceability requirements) with 2+ years as a supervisor, ideally of 24+ employees; BS or BA degree in related subject or equivalent combination of schooling, certification and additional experience; CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) preferred.

-Communication skills: ability to communicate instructions and establish expectations; ability to ask questions and rephrase statements to clarify meaning; ability to read and interpret technical publications.

-Math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

-Analytical skills: review and compare data to identify inconsistencies and determine priorities; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

-Computer skills: Working knowledge of inventory management modules; advanced excel experience preferred.

-Time Management and Organizational skills: flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; planning, organizing and managing time to handle multiple assignments concurrently.

- Leadership skills: remain engaged, proactive and positive even in tough circumstances; own assignments and be fully accountable for their success; align actions, behaviors and conversations to facility priorities.

Responsibilities Include:

The job includes the mechanical design of die-cast, injection molded, and stamped parts. Knowledge of mechanisms, assemblies, hermetically sealed containers, and electronics packaging is needed. Candidate must be able to support designs with analysis and calculations including tolerance analysis and stress. Electrical Engineer - Deleon Springs, Florida
Sparton Electronics has an opening for an Electrical Engineer to support new product development and existing products. Individual will develop circuit designs for low-cost, high-volume products. Candidate must have design experience with digital and analog circuits including low noise filters, A/D and D/A converters, low power designs, amplifiers, and switching regulators. Individual should be familiar with circuit analysis, MultiSim, MathCad, or equivalent. Digital signal processing knowledge, including FFT, sampling, aliasing, and digital IIR and FIR filter implementations is desired. Experience in designing with microcontrollers is desirable as well. Position requires practical skills for bench-level work and ability to configure test equipment to verify design performance.
